About the building

The building was built as part of the new station entrance to Den Haag Hollands Spoor on the Laakhaven side, opened on 28 September 2020. The entrance was designed by NL Architects, commissioned by the municipality of The Hague, ProRail and NS. The retail and bike-parking section was built by contractor K_Dekker bv. The ground floor holds retail units; above them, on the roof, is bike parking for 2,500 bicycles. The building stands on Waldorpstraat in the Laakhaven-Oost neighbourhood, right next to Hollands Spoor station, in the area known as HS Kwartier.
